Located in East Nashville, our home provides a pristine, upscale sanctuary for working professionals and those committed to long-term sobriety—balanced with the autonomy, accountability, and respect you deserve.
The Sentinel is located three minutes from Ellington Parkway off of Gallatin Pike, with easy access to freeways and within walking distance to all major bus lines. We have several off-street parking spots and plenty of on-street parking in the neighborhood.
We are also a short walk away from Kroger, Publix, Orangetheory Fitness, the YMCA of East Nashville, Eastland Park, Walgreens, Scout's Barbershop, Convenience Stores and Gas Stations, Starbucks, Whataburger, Hattie B's Hot Chicken, Tower Deli and many other local restaurants, shops, and neighborhood gathering spaces.
These local amenities are not only convenient but also encourage independence and authentic engagement with the world.
East Nashville also hosts a strong and active recovery community, with multiple 12-step and other sobriety-based meetings nearby - including Wild Hearts Meditation Center and The Home Church, both of which host recovery meetings multiple times per week.

About Our Home
Our beautiful 2,600-square-foot, 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath residence was intentionally designed to support meaningful recovery through an upscale environment offering comfort, community, and structure. The home features two spacious living rooms with large-screen TVs, a gourmet kitchen and dining area, laundry facilities, multiple social and workspace areas, and a variety of wellness-focused amenities.
At The Sentinel, we believe recovery deserves an environment that reflects dignity, comfort, and purpose. Thoughtfully furnished and limited to just eight residents, our home provides a higher standard of sober living while maintaining the warmth, connection, and sense of belonging that make a house feel like home.
Our shared bedrooms are arranged to balance both comfort and privacy. This community-oriented living environment naturally encourages connection, accountability, and peer support while still allowing residents to maintain personal space and independence.
Room placement is thoughtfully assigned based on availability, house dynamics, and what best supports the overall balance of the community. While each bedroom offers its own unique layout and character, all residents enjoy equal access to the home's amenities, resources, and supportive recovery environment regardless of room assignment.

Residents enjoy weekly house dinners, full access and use of our gourmet kitchen, modern appliances, a gas range, three refrigerators, a large freestanding freezer, personal cupboard space, community pantry staples and snacks, two family rooms with big-screen TVs, memory foam beds and pillows, a personal safe, linens and towels, Google Fiber Internet, a color printer and laundry supplies.

Wellness Amenities and Recovery Focussed Offerings:
Residents also benefit from 24-hour access to our dual infrared red light sauna, participation in local recovery community activities, in-house hosted events, off-site outings and service opportunities, as well as in-home guest speakers and workshops from recovery-focused professionals. The finished garage has been transformed into a dedicated space for fitness, yoga, relaxation, and personal reflection.

Applied Recovery Skills Program™:
Residents also participate in The Sentinel's Applied Recovery Skills Program™, a non-clinical framework designed to help individuals build stability, accountability, and practical recovery skills for everyday life. The program consists of house agreements, shared expectations, daily routines, personal responsibility, house rules, curfew, sobriety requirements, and random drug and alcohol testing - all helping residents to develop habits and life skills that support long-term recovery success.
The Applied Recovery Skills Program™ is educational in nature and is intended to complement, not replace, outside clinical care, therapy, counseling, or medical treatment.
The Sentinel Recovery House is a substance-free living environment designed to feel like home, rather than simply a place to stay. We operate as a structured, peer-to-peer, non-clinical recovery residence and utilize a Resident Agreement rather than a traditional lease. Residency is contingent upon alignment with community standards and adherence to a substance-free life.

We believe in complete financial transparency. We charge no application fees to apply and no hidden utility costs.

$250 – One-Time Administration Intake Fee. Once your application is reviewed and accepted, a one-time Administrative Intake Fee, along with your first weekly or monthly rate is required to secure your stay.
